陰茎背神経とは
・ 会陰神経よりも深部に位置する。
・ 男特有の神経で、女の場合は「 陰核背神経 」となる。
以下は「 日本人体解剖学 (上巻) 」を参考に作成したものとなる。
1 . 陰部神経の神経幹より分岐する。
分岐する場所は、インターネットで画像検索をかけて調べてみると、以下の3つのパターンがある。
・ 陰部神経が陰部神経管に入る前に分岐
・ 陰部神経管の中で分岐
・ 陰部神経管を出た後に分岐
2 . 陰茎背動・静脈とともに走行する。
3 . 尿生殖隔膜（ この場合は深会陰横筋 ）を貫通する。
4 . 坐骨海綿体筋と球海綿体筋との間を走って陰茎背面に達する。
5 . 陰茎背動脈の外側を前方に走り陰茎亀頭に達する。
「 日本人体解剖学 (上巻) 」には以下のような解説文が見られる。
「 経過中に、陰茎（陰核）背神経は尿生殖隔膜に筋枝を与え 」
 「 日本人体解剖学 (上巻) 」の解説では、陰茎背神経はその経過中に尿生殖隔膜（骨盤底の前部を構成する筋肉群）に筋枝を与えているようだが、筋枝を出しているのに知覚性の神経でよいのだろうか？

「 The dorsal nerve of the penis is the deepest division of the pudendal nerve; it accompanies the internal pudendal artery along the ramus of the ischium ; it then runs forward along the margin of the ）, between the superior and inferior layers of the fascia of the urogenital diaphragm .
Piercing the inferior layer it gives a branch to the corpus cavernosum penis, and passes forward, in company with the dorsal artery of the penis, between the layers of the suspensory ligament, on to the dorsum of the penis, and ends on the glans penis . It innervates the skin of the penis. 」
