」や「船戸和弥のホームページ」では第2肋軟骨から下の肋軟骨に放線状胸肋靭帯が付着するような解説になっている。それに対して英語のサイトでは全ての肋軟骨に放線状胸肋靭帯が付着するような記述になったものも見られる。イラストを見てもそのことがうかがえる。
