　以下が膝関節動脈網を構成する動脈となる。

1	下行膝動脈	descending genicular artery
2	内側上膝動脈	medial superior genicular artery
3	外側上膝動脈	lateral superior genicular artery
4	中膝動脈	middle genicular artery
5	内側下膝動脈	medial inferior genicular artery
6	外側下膝動脈	lateral inferior genicular artery
7	腓骨回旋枝	fibular circumflex artery
8	後脛骨反回動脈	posterior tibial recurrent artery
9	前脛骨反回動脈	anterior tibial recurrent artery

「　膝関節動脈網は動脈の枝で作られていて，大きい広がりをもつ網であり，膝関節包をとりまいている．次の諸動脈がその形成にあずかる．膝蓋骨動脈網 (Rete patellae) は膝関節動脈網の一部で膝蓋骨の前面にあるものである． 」

　また、以下は「Wikipedia」の解説になる。

「　The patellar network ( circulatory anastomosis around the knee-joint, patellar anastomosis, genicular anastomosis, articular vascular network of knee[1] or rete articulare genus[2] ) is an intricate network of vessels around and above the patella, and on the contiguous ends of the femur and tibia, forming a superficial and a deep plexus.

• 　The superficial plexus is situated between the fascia and skin around about the patella, and forms three well-defined arches: one, above the upper border of the patella, in the loose connective tissue over the Quadriceps femoris; the other two, below the level of the patella, are situated in the fat behind the ligamentum patellæ.
• 　The deep plexus, which forms a close net-work of vessels, lies on the lower end of the femur and upper end of the tibia around their articular surfaces, and sends numerous offsets into the interior of the joint.

　The arteries which form this plexus are the inferior medial and superior medial genicular arteries, the inferior lateral and superior lateral genicular arteries, the descending genicular artery, the descending branch of lateral femoral circumflex artery, and the anterior tibial recurrent artery. 」
