　頚椎の鈎状突起とは

　椎体鈎 とも呼ばれている。

 

 

「Academic Dictionaries and Encyclopedias」では以下のように解説している。

「a hooklike projection found on each side of the superior surface of the third to seventh cervical vertebral bodies. It is a frequent site of formation of spurs (osteophytes), leading to spondylosis uncovertebralis. Called also processus uncinatus vertebrae cervicalis and uncinate process of cervical vertebra.」

 

　また、「船戸和弥のホームページ」には以下のような解説が見られる。

「第１胸椎にしばしば頚椎におけると同様に、椎体の両側に椎体鈎が認められる。」
