茎状突起鞘（側頭骨）（ けいじょうとっきしょう、英：sheath of styloid process ）

 

・英訳の「sheath of styloid process」は「日本人体解剖学」を参照にしたものだが、サイト「IMAIOS」では「vaginal crest of the styloid process」としている。

　On the ventral surface of the temporal bone, the vaginal crest of the styloid process (Vagina processus styloidei) is a thin bony plate belonging to the tympanic part that sheath the styloid process (Processus styloideus), that belongs to the petrous part.
　It is well visible in Equidae and Ruminants, and weak or absent in other species.
