「Scapular fractures involving the scapula neck have two patterns. One type of fracture is through the anatomical neck of the scapula (see figure below). This type of fracture is rare. The other type of fracture is through the surgical neck of the scapula. Surgical neck exits medial to coracoid process. This type of fracture is most common.」
