正中仙骨動脈 とは

「 正中仙骨動脈は腹大動脈の左・右総腸骨動脈への分岐部においてその後上方からおこり、仙骨前面の正中線を下行する細い動脈であり、大動脈の直接のつづきとみなされる。先端にはパラガングリオンに属する尾骨小体がある。この動脈の壁側枝は肋間動脈と腰動脈に相当するもので、その第１対をとくに最下腰動脈と呼ぶ」
1 . 腹大動脈の左右の総腸骨動脈の分岐部において、その後上方から起こる。
2 . 仙骨前面の正中線を、左右に外側仙骨枝を出しながら下行する。
3 . 尾骨の下端の前面（もしくわ直下）にある 尾骨小体 に終わる。
尾骨小体 ( coccygeal body ) ：「 動静脈吻合と上皮様細胞を含む小体で、正中仙骨動脈の末端で尾骨尖端の前にある。 」（ 船戸和也のHP ）
正中仙骨動脈は左右に伸びる外側仙骨枝（ 肋間動脈・腰動脈に相当 ）を出しながら仙骨前面を下行するが、その最上方のものを最下腰動脈と呼んでいる。

「 The median sacral artery ( or middle sacral artery ) is a small vessel that arises posterior to the abdominal aorta and superior to its bifurcation.
It descends in the middle line in front of the fourth and fifth lumbar vertebræ, the sacrum and coccyx, ending in the glomus coccygeum ( coccygeal gland ).
Minute branches pass from it, to the posterior surface of the rectum.
On the last lumbar vertebra it anastomoses with the lumbar branch of the iliolumbar artery ; in front of the sacrum it anastomoses with the lateral sacral arteries, sending off shoots into the anterior sacral foramina.
It is crossed by the left common iliac vein and accompanied by a pair of venæ comitantes ; these unite to form a single vessel that opens into the left common iliac vein.
