深足底動脈（枝）とは
・「 外側足底動脈とともに足底動脈弓をつくる。 」（ 日本人体解剖学 ）
・「長さ」に関して言及している資料は見当たらないのだが、足底に至ってからすぐに足底動脈弓に加わると思われるので、かなり短い動脈だと思われる。

「 The deep plantar artery ( ramus plantaris profundus ; communicating artery ) descends into the sole of the foot, between the two heads of the first Interosseous dorsalis, and unites with the termination of the lateral plantar artery, to complete the plantar arch.
It sends a branch along the medial side of the great toe and continues forward along the first interosseous space as the first plantar metatarsal artery, which bifurcates for the supply of the adjacent sides of the great and second toes.」
