深 枝 とは
上記の上枝および下枝の解説は「船戸和弥のHP」を参考にしたものだが、Wikipediaの解説では以下のようになる。
上 枝 ： 元来の動詞走行方向を維持して小殿筋の上縁に沿うように上前腸骨棘に向けて走る。
吻合）深腸骨回旋動脈、外側大腿回旋動脈の上行枝
下 枝 ： 大転子に向かって小殿筋上を斜めに走る。殿筋に向かう枝を出し外側大腿回旋動脈と吻合する。
