翼突管動脈とは
・蝶形骨の翼状突起の根部を弓状に前後に貫く翼突管は、翼突管神経/動脈/静脈を通している。
「船戸和弥のホームページ」では以下のように解説している。
「 翼突管動脈は翼突管神経に伴行して蝶形骨洞壁へ分布する。 翼突管動脈は翼突管を通って後方に向い耳管およびその周囲に分布する。 」
・「プロメテウス解剖学アトラス」では内頚動脈の枝としている。

「Wikipedia」では、翼突管動脈を「外頚動脈または内頚動脈から分岐する」としている。
