足の中足の関節に付属する靭帯のうち足根中足関節に関する靭帯で、足背側で3つの楔状骨および立方骨と中足骨底を結んでいる。

「底側足根中足靱帯は背側のものと同じく足根骨と中根骨とを底側で結ぶ。外側または中央の部は長足底靱帯の中足骨に着く線維で強められ、内側の部は長腓骨筋腱の第１，２中足骨に着くところで強められる。」

「The plantar tarsometatarsal ligaments consist of longitudinal and oblique bands, disposed with less regularity than the dorsal ligaments.
